3. Current Researchs and Past Related Researchs:
Currently, my research is looking into the population dynamic of two group of plants (i.e. Arecaceae, Rattan and Mimosaseae, Mimosa pigra), both of economically important at the extreme ends. I have been granted with a Research University Grant-USM to conduct a research on the relation of small mammals and the distribution of rattan seeds and seedlings. As for Mimosa pigra, I am looking at the effect of stimulated and continuous herbivory events on the seedling survivability.
