Thesis |
|
A student in 4th Term may
opt course work (as above) or thesis. The thesis topic will be on a
topic approved by the Board of Studies/Department of LIS. The thesis is
to be carried out by the student under the supervision of research
supervisor. The thesis will deal with LIS problem; compilations of
bibliographies, histories of individuals, academic and other departments
and libraries may not be accepted as research topic. The student has to
complete the thesis within a stipulated period according to prescribed rules of SUIT. |

Viva Voce |

After the successful completion of four
Terms a student have to appear before a committee comprising on internal
and external member for viva voce. Qualifying the Viva Voce would be a
compulsory condition for grant of MLIS degree |
