Sarhad University Students Win First Place at Inter-University Climate Change Competition

We are proud to announce that students from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Sarhad University secured the First Position in the Inter-University Competition on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, organized by the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar.
The competition brought together leading universities from across the region to present innovative solutions tackling the urgent issue of climate change. Sarhad University’s team impressed the panel with their cutting-edge, practical project focused on sustainable energy and climate resilience, effectively combining technical expertise with real-world impact.
In recognition of their outstanding achievement, the team was awarded a cash prize of PKR 100,000. This success highlights the exceptional talent and dedication of our students and faculty and underscores Sarhad University’s commitment to research, innovation, and sustainable development.
