HEC Intervarsity Badminton Zone “B” (Male) championship 2022-23 was hosted by Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology Peshawar w.e.f 14th to 16th Nov, 2022 at BISE Badminton Hall, Peshawar as per HEC directions.
The following universities badminton teams were participated in the said championship:
1. University of Peshawar, Peshawar
2. University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar
3. Islamia College University, Peshawar
4. Sarhad University of Science & IT, Peshawar
6. City University, Peshawar
8. Iqra National University, Peshawar
9. Agricultural University, Peshawar
Competition
was held in a cordial atmosphere and completed with the cooperation of the
participating teams. The final match of the championship was played between City
University, Peshawar and Sarhad University of Science & IT, Peshawar on 16th
Nov, 2022, in the result the Sarhad University of Science & IT,
Peshawar won the Final match by defeating the City University, Peshawar with a
score of 3-0. After winning the Zone B Competition, Sarhad University,
Peshawar qualified for HEC All Pakistan
Intervarsity Badminton (Male) Championship 2022-23, which will be organized by UET Taxila in Dec, 2022. At
this occasion a large number of students (male and female) witnesses. Prof. Dr.
Abdul Waheed Mughal, Dean Social Sciences was the Chief Guest of opening ceremony
while Prof. Dr. Salim ur Rehman, Vice
Chancellor, Sarhad University, Peshawar was the Chief Guest of Closing Ceremony.
