Three days activities of SUIT Festival and Sports Gala-2023 concluded successfully yesterday. The Vice Chancellor, Sarhad University, Prof. Dr. Salim ur Rehman was the Chief Guest, while the Deans of Faculties participated as Guests of Honour. The Heads of the Department, Institutes and Section were also present on the occasion besides a large number of students, faculty and staff members.
The Festival and Sports Gala was organized from 19th to 21st December, 2023 in the Main Campus.
The following events were included in the Festival:
Drama Competition, Singing Competition, Poster Competition, Flower Arrangement Competition, Cultural Walk, Cultural Dance, Car Show, Talent Show, Video Competition, Mehndi Competition and Photography Competition.
The Sports Gala was consisting of the following indoor/outdoor games:
Volley Ball, Badminton (M/F), Table Tennis (M/F), Luddo (M/F), Carrom (M/F), Chess (M/F), Tug of War , and E-Gaming.
A large number of students, and teachers participated in the above events, and won awards of the winners and runners up in their respective categories.
The Vice Chancellor congratulated the students for holding a successful event on a short notice, and provided the students with a solid platform to utilize their energies in a positive way.
The Vice Chancellor later on award trophies, shields and certificates to the winning & runners up teams, students, and organizers to acknowledge their hard work and round the clock efforts to make the event successful.
